The Secrets Between Us is a beautiful second chance romance novel telling the love story of Quinn and Lincoln.
Before starting of with what I liked about the plot I would like to talk about the two main characters of this story, Quinn and Lincoln who all throughout the novel remained my absolute favourite. Quinn is a strong and independent woman, who is brave, courageous and intelligent and came go to limits to avenge the wrong that has been done to her. The last part of the previous line may come out to be a bit negative when you people would read my review but it was all justified because the person involved deserved whatever she planned to do. Coming to Lincoln, he is also very brave and has to be because he fights terrorists for living. But apart from that he is someone who has made great sacrifices for the love of his life and definitely would try and do whatever is in his hand to protect Quinn.
Quinn and Lincoln’s love story was sweet at parts and at the some other parts was sad and painful. It was painful especially in those parts where they thought about their past or when the secrets and the mistakes committed years ago were threatening their happily ever after. Both of these sweet and sad parts made this love story very beautiful.
Apart from the love story their were few elements of suspense which were very good.
After saying so many good things I don’t want to say anything bad but still I would do because I would like to justify why I gave it a 4 stars instead of 5. Till date I have read many romance novels and so now a days I seldom come across a romance novel which is totally different from the previous one, so that happened in this case too, their were certain parts which became predictable because some other novel which I had read, had dealt with that concept.
If you are in a mood for a love story with a sweet second chance romance then this book is definitely recommend for you.
