REVIEW

After reading back to back thrillers, I was eager to read something sweet and heartwarming, so I decided to go with Ride with me. Ride With Me scored marvelously in both the departments, it was both sweet and heartwarming plus it was quite steamy which was an added bonus.

Both the main characters were good, especially Grayson. He was very caring not just to Lucy and people he helped during his duty but also to animals. Like Lucy I also love men who care about animals, so Grayson has definitely made a place in the list of best book boyfriends and it definitely helps that he is super sexy and handsome.

Whenever I read a love story, the one thing that I always need is that emotions of the lead (whose pov we are reading) are written well. Ride with Me scored quite satisfactorily in that department. The love letter near the end just stole the show for me. It was very beautiful, sweet and heartwarming. Another thing I loved was Lucy and Grayson’s playful banter and flirtatious talks.

“He regarded me with those warm gray eyes, looking at me as if he couldn’t get enough. Like I was the most beautiful sight he had ever seen.”~Lucy

There were only a few things that I didn’t like about this book. I would talk about them now. I felt that Grayson shed the idea of not committing really too soon, even before properly knowing Lucy. There was one instance in this book, where Grayson talked about quitting his job (though he didn’t) so that he could be with Lucy, that was something I didn’t like because I am a kind of person for whom the passion for her work would be something that would always stand above anyone or anything. Another thing, I felt there were too many coincidences in the initial pages of the book, which was something I didn’t like much, but I pretty much forgot about that as the story advanced and I got engulfed in Lucy and Grayson’s story.

Final words
