I literally just found out what a tanka was this past year. I like them more than the standard haiku. My first one I ever wrote may be the best one I’ve ever written.

Thanks for the compliment to my poem. I don’t know how people could express their feelings in just three lines of haiku, I think I will never be able to do that. So I also like tanka more.
